CBSE or central board of secondary education has decided to take the re exam for Class XII economics and Class X maths papers. This decision has been taken against the confirmation of paper leaks for the mentioned two subjects.

CBSE PAPER LEAK AND RE EXAM-

As soon as the news broke up parents have reacted furiously. And students are in the state of shock. They are not able to digest that the hard work they had put up for this very exam has all turned out to be nothing. CBSE chief ANITA KARWAL has said that the decision has been taken to be impartial and give a trustworthy examination.

CBSE New exam dates-

An exam notice has been released which states that the details about the re exam and schedule will be updated meanwhile in a week . It states that strict action will be taken against those involved in this malpractice.

The police have questioned more than 2 dozen people on this issue. And they say that they have received important clues to solve the case.

Since the SSC protest, government of India was facing criticism. And the leak of CBSE paper has put it in the back foot. Opposition too has come up strong on this matter. Union Minister PRAKASH JAVEDKAR has shown concern on the matter. And he states that the new schedule of exam will be updated till MONDAY or TUESDAY. He also mentioned that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi too has eyes on this issue and is very much concerned about the matter.

Reaction of students and parents-

Well as expected the reaction of students and parents are furious. Students who were relieved after their exam was over are now again feeling the same burden and chaos. On the other hand parents are in anger too. They are very much concerned about their children.

A student when contacted said- ” If their has been a misconduct in the exam then it’s the fault of CBSE. Why should i or anyone be tortured for someone else’s mistake”.

We got almost the same reaction from the students all across the nation be that of MUMBAI, PUNE, DELHI, PATNA, RANCHI, BANGAORE etc.

CBSE PAPER LEAK AND RE EXAM-

It must be noted that the news of paper leak was circulated week ago. But the screenshots of whatsapp and other photos gave the fuel to the matter. And now the fact has been cemented that the papers were actually leaked.

Demand for re exam of all papers-

Students held a protest in DELHI demanding for the re exam of all papers and not just these two. They do have a valid point. They are saying that if these two papers are leaked then it confirms the rumors that all the papers were leaked. Thus re exam for all papers should be conducted .

Well we too will keep an eye on the issue and notify the new schedule and other updates. We hope for the best of the students.

Students to Protest against SSC on 31 March

Students to Protest against SSC on 31 March-

The continuous negligence by the SSC has forced the students to Protest against SSC on 31 March

There were reports of one aspirant caught with the answer script before the examination in Delhi on 17th of Feb 2018. And on the same day SSC decided to cancel the second shift of the exam.

Later answer keys of the ongoing paper appeared on social media even as the exam was going on. But no further actions were taken against the same. This enraged the aspirants. And in agitation they started to collect in large number to protest against SSC in CGO complex New Delhi.

Students Protest against SSC –

A raid by a joint team of Uttar Pradesh Police STF and Delhi Police in Timarpur on 27th March caught a crime syndicate have admitted to leak the SSC paper. Which further cemented the fact that there were leaks in the examination.

A long protest though forced the government to take some action, they just took it against SSC CGL only. But the demands of the protestors was not limited just to CGL only but CBI enquiry for all SSC exams.

Students are demanding just the fair conduct of examination and a trustworthy commission.

Demands to be made on 31st March-

  1. Well continuous negligence by the government has forced the students to protest against SSC on 31st March. Their demands are fair too.
  2. CBI enquiry for every SSC exam held in this duration.
  3. No further conduct of examination till the investigation is completed.
  4. CBI investigation be monitored by a Supreme Court-appointed committee.
  5. Investigation of all tiers of all exams conducted by the SSC (such as the CHSL – combined higher secondary level examination) in the past one year.
  6. Quick investigation under given duration.

Students have said that the government though has accepted the demand for CBI probe, but did not give any written assurance for CBI investigation. Also there are many forces acting against the protesters to sideline the protest. These forces are working to nullify all the efforts made by the protesters. Even the media coverage which must be given to the issue is not at all sufficient.

Considering every aspect, it has become necessary for the aspirants to take some steps. And our constitution also permits peaceful protest which these aspirants are talking about. So,  the demand of just and fair conduct of examination and a trustworthy commission is really not wrong. And demand of students does seem justified.

Massive Growth of Unemployment in India

Massive Growth of Unemployment in India-

Massive growth of unemployment in India has been registered in last 3 years. Job creation  is suffering and fresh data released by the Labour Bureau shows the extent of worry on this count.  Economic Survey points to a shift in the pattern of employment from permanent jobs to casual and contract employment.

With the largest population of under 35, an advantage that is likely to remain with India for the next 3 decades. But there comes a challenge too that is “India needs jobs”. GDP growth of the country is shown as increasing. But unemployment too is increasing with a steady pace.

Unemployment in India-

Railway recruitment board has received more than two crore applications for about one lakh vacancies, according to reports. This itself shows the alarming situation of the unemployment in the country. This is also because people want stability and depth in their career which only government jobs can provide. And still people don’t look after private jobs as a permanent solution.

Also, there is a great uncertainty in the job market. First Demonetization and then GST, both played a crucial role too. Many people lost their job in demonetization.

Even though the present government persuades to start one’s own work field and give others employment. But this doesn’t seems practical at all. Leaving the few, people don’t have enough capital to be invested to start their own enterprise, company etc.

From the very childhood, a student tries hard and after giving 20 years of his life he earns a degree. And that is just to get a job and forcing them to start a business seems impractical. Even these days “PAKODA POLITICS” too emerged very randomly. Where some of the politicians suggested the youth that they can even have a stall of pakodas. And it is too a type of employment.

Well it may be, but not for someone who has worked so hard for his whole life and earned a graduation or masters degree. Is is logical at all.

Scams Surrounding the Jobs-

It has been reported by the Central government as well as many state governments too that over 5 lacks jobs are in pending. And there are talks in the corridor to nullify them too. As the unemployment rate is booming to a new peak, and over that is such step is taken will that not worsen the situation.

Also the slow pace of Selection Commissions in recruitment and corruption is a major factor too contributing to worsen the condition. According to the BSE-CMIE month wise unemployment data, November and December last year were the worst months for jobs in the entire 12-month period.

Massive Growth of Unemployment in India-

With the projected 7.6 percent annual GDP growth in the next two years, India is the fastest growing major economy in the world. But there is clear road map how to increase the job opportunities. And the situation is not looking better going ahead. We are not posting any statistics because it will just bring panic to new aspirants. Data and statistics are widely available on many platforms.

India is one of the best sources of quality human resources to the world. Higher education isn’t scarce, jobs and quality education are. The aspiring middle class, migrates to urban centers from India’s villages hoping better jobs and income. But there is no proper channel to provide them a financial security.

Around 58 percent of unemployed graduates and 62 percent of unemployed post graduates cited non-availability of jobs matching with education/skill and experience as the main reason for unemployment.

This situation is alarming and must be dealt with seriousness. Else the agitation and frustration will build and is not good for the development of the nation. More and more opportunities should be created. And government should try to build a better education system which itself will eliminate the need of SKILL INDIA. A jobless economic growth is of no good and will dampen the nations’s growth in long term.

Further the government in center and state both should work to provide a trustworthy commission for recruitment free from any corruption and in said duration.
